JUST IN! Rwandair Suspends Flights to Middle East

Rwandair, a Rwanda government Airlines, has suspended flights to and from the Middle East following the volatile situation involving airstrikes between America/ Israel on one hand and Iran on the other.

 

An important Travel Updates for Flights to/fro the Middle East dated Saturday, 28th February, 2026, Rwandair says, “Due to the evolving situation in the Middle East, flights WB300/WB 303 and WB304 and WB305 to and from Doha and Dubai respectively have been suspended until further notice.”

 

The Rwandair emphasizes its priority on passenger and crew safety adding that affected passengers may reschedule their tickets to a future date.

 

“Due to the current security situation in the Middle East, Ethiopian Airlines is cancelling some of its flights to/from the region. So far, our flights to Amman, Tel Aviv, Dammam, and Beirut are cancelled. We continue to actively monitor developments and will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and convenience of our passengers and crew. To avoid any further inconvenience, we kindly advise passengers traveling to/from the region to check their flight status on our digital channels and also contact their travel agencies, or reach out to our Global Customer Interaction Centre at reservation@ethiopianairlines.com before proceeding to the airport. Ethiopian Airlines, A member of Star Alliance!” reads a corresponding announcement.

 

This follows the closure of airspaces by Middle East countries after the airstrikes targeting Iran took effect on Friday, 27th February, 2026 prompting retaliatory strikes by Iran against U.S Bases in   Bahrain, as well as other American bases in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
