An unscrupulous Ugandan has been paraded before Kole Magistrate Court for allegedly obtaining Assistant District Health Officer position in Kole District on fake O’ Level and Postgraduate Certificates.
Martin Egwang who appeared before the Kole Chief Magistrate’s court today, Thursday, March 12, 2026 for plea taking, allegedly committed the offences in 2017.
According to the Inspectorate of Government, Egwang is charged with two counts of uttering false documents, and impersonation.
Egwang is said to have presented an O’Level Certificate to Kole DSC belonging to a one, Egwang Martin who is an Estates Engineer at Busitema University, and falsely represented himself to be the person named in the said certificate, with intent to defraud.
Similarly, Egwang while applying for the same position knowingly and fraudulently, and with intent to defraud or deceive, uttered a false Post-graduate Diploma in Public Administration & Mgt transcript No. 93342, purportedly issued by Uganda Martyrs University to the Kole District Service Commission (DSC) knowing the same to be false.
