A Kyambogo University student believed to be a Sabiny has died after being involved in a fatal road crash in Bweyogerere.
According to the Police Safety and Traffic Spokesperson, SP Michael Kananura, the deceased, identified by her University ID is Cherotich Anita Scovia.
He says she got involved in the accident on Monday evening, 30th March, 2026 while traveling on a boda-boda that collided with a moving vehicle resulting in her immediate death.
Her body has been taken to Mulago Mortuary and her family or relatives have not yet been identified or contacted.
Police now urges anyone who may know her family or relatives to pass on this information to them and get more details, the police at Bweyogerere Police Station.
The deceased according to Kyambogo University Students Welfare Department is a born of Rotok village, Kaserem Sub County in Kapchorwa district.
She has been pursuing Bachelor of Environmental Science Technology and Management in her second year of study. She was knocked at about 1:30PM on Monday, at Fuelex Bweyogere town and died on spot.
