The Deputy Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament, Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has joined the DNA results debate regarding some of the children of the late Kandongo Kamu Star, Prince Job Paul Kafeero.
The results released on Thursday, 25th June on 25 sampled children only confirmed 4 as Kafeero’s biological children.
However, a larger debate has emerged after two Kafeero photocopy men happened to be among the 21 denied by the DNA tests.
Joining the debate, Tayebwa asks Minister Balaam to go ahead and do DNA with the rest of Kafeero’s brothers to close this chapter arguing that the resemblance of the two cannot be wished away.
“Total closure of this matter is needed especially for those children who are total photocopies of the late. Who fathered them? I trust you on handling such complicated matters and I’m sure you will handle,” says Tayebwa on his X-Handle.
In reply, Minister Ballam insists the results are legit because they were carried out by three independent laboratories; MBN Laboratory, Police Forensic Laboratory and Government Analytical Laboratory.
“These are verified findings. However, the late Paul sang a song that many should listen to carefully and reflect upon,” adds Balaam insinuating that the late could have known about the unfaithfulness of some of his wives.
In Paulo Kafeero’s song called Mwanyinaze, he had this line below
“…..Omukazi omweraguze abeera mubi nnyo, waakiri osuza emisota munsonda z’enju eka. Literally meaning, women who frequent witchdoctors are very bad, it is even better to house a snake at home.
