In what seems to be a well-coordinated move, six men armed with two guns and riding on motorcycles raided the home of Mzee Pande Paul, 62, a resident of Kotolo Parish, Kibuku District in the early hours of Thursday, July 9, 2026.
According to Bukedi North Police Spokesperson, ASP Wilfred Kyampasa, it is alleged that on July 9, 2026, at around 1:10am, a group of six people riding motorcycles and armed with breaking implements and two guns entered the premises of the complainant.
He says the attackers broke into the house, assaulted him, and went away with an unspecified amount of money and land titles/agreements.
The attackers are also alleged to have fired three bullets into the air to scare residents as they fled the scene.
A case of aggravated robbery was registered vide SD 03/09/07/2026, and inquiries are ongoing.
