Police in Kibuku district are holding a 46 year old man on allegations of shooting two minors to death using an arrow.
According to Immaculate Alaso, the Bukedi North Police Spokesperson, the suspect identified as Muhamed Kirya, a resident of Buloch village, Dodoi parish, Rural Sub County in Kibuku district was arrested yesterday 4th March 2022.
She adds that the minors were shot by Kirya on the night of 3rd March 2022 after accusing them of stealing mangoes in the Tirinyi road market where he was guarding.
Alaso also says that Muhamed is currently being detained at Kibuku central police station under charges of murder whereas the bodies of the minors have been given to owners for burial.
