A 68 year old man has been hacked to death by a man aged 40 years for allegedly having a sexual relationship with the latter’s wife.
Benson Esamu, a resident of Mugara Cell, Central Ward, Tubur Town Council in Soroti district met his death yesterday, 15th July, 2022 at the hands of Moses Erabu, a resident of Amuria district.
According to ASP Oscar Ageca Gregory, the Police Mouthpiece, East Kyoga territory, Erabu found the deceased seated at the Market in Tubur Town Council and proceeded to cut the deceased using a panga he had concealed around his waist.
“Erabu found Esamu seated at Tubur Market, picked a machete he had concealed around his waist, proceeded to cut the deceased many times on allegations that the deceased was having an affair with his wife,” Ageca said in the press statement.
