Police has released a list of 114 motor vehicles whose drivers broke various traffic rules.
According to a Police press statement released today 8th August 2022, by Faridah Nampiima, the Police Spokesperson Traffic, the offenders were captured over the weekend in the areas of Seeta-Jomayi, Mukono-Kigombya Road, Jinja Road and Namagunga.
On Seeta-Jomayi Road, 11 drivers were captured breaking traffic rules, 10 on Jinja Road, 39 on Namagunga, 29 on Mukono-Kigombya Road, and 16 on Ntinda – Kiwatule Road among others.
“Using our cameras, the following violated traffic laws and regulations in various locations and they have been charged accordingly, you are advised to report to the nearest police station and pick up your EPS tickets for the various offences.” Nampiima’s statement reads in part.
