The Bulambuli District Health Officer is in more trouble this time with the Resident District Commissioner investigating him over alleged shoddy works on of Muyembe Health Center IV Maternity Ward.

Muhammad Mulongo, the Bulambuli District Health Officer is currently under interdiction on orders of State Minister for Economic Monitoring in the President’s office, Peter Ogwang.

On Friday last week, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Bulambuli district raised concern over substandard works at the Muyembe health center IV maternity Ward.

Stanley Mayola raised the concern while speaking during the inspection of the Maternity Ward on Friday last week.

Mayola said that works on the ward don’t reflect theShs635 million which was released by the district for the renovation.

He revealed that whereas Bulambuli district released Shs635 million to paint the ward, procure new beds, and improve on roofing, the works done doesn’t match the money.

Mayola also called for quick investigation on the matter such that he can get enough evidence to pin Mulongo.

Annet Nambozo, the LCV chairperson of Bulambuli district also says that they are going to look into bills of quantity documents to come out with facts.

Efforts to get a comment from Mohamed Mulongo were futile by press time because his known phone numbers were off.
