Franco Olabora the Namisindwa district Chief Administrative Officer has been interdicted from office to pave way for investigations.
This follows the petition which was written by councilors and LCIII chairpersons of the newly created sub-counties and town councils to the ministry of local government on grounds of having a poor relationship with the political side, the poor performance of the district during the national assessment, mismanagement of district payroll among others.
According to the letter which was seen by our website signed by the permanent secretary ministry of local government Mr Ben Kumumanya, Mr Olabora has been asked to stay out of office as investigations take place.
Meanwhile, another letter dated 22 September signed by Mr Ben Kumumanya has transferred Mr John Patrick Nuweabigaba the former acting CAO of Katakwi district to Namisindwa as the acting new CAO.
