BUKEDEA
The grade one magistrate court of Bukedea has granted the Bukedea Resident District Commissioner, William Wilberforce Tukei and the District police commander Patrick Charles Okoto a cash court bail of four hundred thousand shillings each.
The duo reappeared before the grade one magistrate court of Bukedea today 26th, July 2023 before her worship Julian Kimino to submit their bail applications after being remanded for two weeks in prison.
The two officers were charged with negligence of office over the Bukedea LCV by-election mess.
The other two also granted cash bail of three hundred thousand each include, Daniel Malinga Owenge the town council area councilor and Muhamud Oluka, town council Giso who were charged of simple robbery of nine millions shillings and aggravated assault of one of the Bukedea LCV by-election candidate, David Stephen Omagor.
According to Ms. Kimono the four people will report to court on 8th,August 2023.
