A strange fire has gutted down a girls dormitory at St. Paul Nasuuti SS in Nambale Sub County in Iganga district destroying students books and properties worthy millions of shillings.
The Police Spokes Person for Busoga East Diana Nandawula has confirmed the incident that occured on Friday and said it left at least 40 students admitted at Iganga

However Daina Nandawula said they were still investigating the cause of the fire, although people suspected it could have started from an electricity short circuit.
The Deputy Headmaster, Livingstone Baliruno said the incident happened late morning time while classes were ongoing.
He said they called Police fire fighters from Iganga but by the time they responded, fire had caused a huge damage. He called for assistance from government.
