Police in Mityana district are actively pursuing Joseph Muwanga 37 years of age in connection with the alleged murder of his 19-year-old wife, Jessica Nakamatte.
Fred Enanga, the Police spokesperson says the body was discovered on Monday, 13th November 2023 at Kitavujja Cell in Ssekanyonyi Town Council in Mityana district in her rented house when the body was decomposing.
He says shockingly, body parts including the nose and tongue were missing.
“A medical examination confirmed these disturbing details, leading to the release of the body to relatives for burial,” Enanga said.
Enanga also says that they are still hunting for the husband such that the can be arrested to answer to charges of murder.
