A 25 year old man from Amuria district is admitted at Soroti regional referral hospital after his genitals were chopped off during a scuffle over a woman.
The victim identified as Martin Onyait was allegedly assaulted by Paulo Onyala on Saturday, 2nd December, 2023 in a fight for Angela Apila, Onyait’s lover.
Onyait, a local leader at Ogongora parish, in Amuria Sub County, says that the victim was found lying in a pool of blood and was taken to the hospital.
He adds that the victim sustained bad injuries on his private parts and was bleeding badly to the extent that even the scrotum was oozing blood.
John Tukei, the East Kyoga regional police spokesperson, confirmed the incident and promised to give a comment after gathering enough information.
