The Inspectorate of Government Arua regional office has today, 7th March, 2024 arrested a CID Officer for allegedly demanding and receiving a bribe from a suspect.
Deputy Sergeant Fatuma Santu Sebbi, CID Officer Katrine Police Post in Terego district was arrested receiving Shs200,000 out of the Shs400,000 she had demanded.
According to a statement by the IGG, Sergeant Sebbi is currently cooling off at Arua Central Police Station awaiting to be arraigned in Court on Monday 11th March, 2024.
