Mujomba Sam Gagi, a renowned NRM Cadre and mobilize has come out of the closet to declare his intertest in representing his people of Iki-Iki constituency in Parliament, come 2026.
Mujomba’s declaration has created anxiety in the constituency with many whispering that the incumbent, Hon. Robert Kasolo who is serving out his second term, may not be coming back to contest.
Speaking to this reporter over the weekend, a number of residents have called upon Mujomba to step up as their next constituency Member of Parliament saying his profound understanding of the NRM Party and governance, honed through his role within the party which sets him apart as a knowledgeable leader.
Iki-Iki constituency consists of Kamonkoli, Kamonkoli Town Council, Kadimonkoli, Katila, Iki-Iki Town Council, Iki-Iki, Kameruka, Migiti and Kakoli Sub Counties in Budaka District.
Mujomba has extensive political experience, representing Uganda both domestically and internationally in NRM Party errands.
Residents also applaud Mujomba’s deep connection to the community as a “Son of the soil” saying he is committed to serving all the people in the constituency regardless of background or status.
His genuine heart for community service has not gone unnoticed, earning him admiration and trust from the people of Iki-Iki constituency in Budaka district.
With his strong ties to the community, political acumen and unwavering dedication to public service, it’s no surprise that Iki-iki is emphatically endorsing Mujomba Sam Gagi to represent them in the 12th Parliament.
