The State House Anti-Corruption Unit in conjunction with CID has arrested and arraigned before court Tororo Municipality Education Officer, Head Teacher Morukatipe View Primary School and a Councilor.
They were arraigned before the Chief Magistrate Tororo Court today, 26th July, 2024.
The trio, Mrs Ajuma Teddy Makola – Municipal Education Officer,
Ms. Nanjala Eunice Joy – Head Teacher / Morukatipe View Primary School, and Mr. Omuye Andrew were charged with Theft and Conspiracy to defraud Morukatipe View Primary School and government.
It is alleged that the trio and others still at large conspired and stole Shs52M meant for the relocation and construction of Morukatipe View Primary School to a new site.
They have been remanded till 7th August 2024 by the Chief Magistrates Court, Tororo.
