The Electoral Commission has set 20th January to 10th February, 2025 as a period within which voters can update their details on the National Voters Register.
In a communication issued on Monday, January 06, 2025, the Electoral Commission advises Ugandans who have turned 18 years to register to be eligible to vote in the coming General elections.
This period also caters for voters who would wish to change voting location especially if they have moved to new locations.
The exercise also helps voters to confirm their details whether they are correct and polling stations to be assigned to new voters.
Uganda is gearing for general elections in 2026 with all elective positions up for grabs.
