MBALE CITY
Godfrey Masaba, the Operation Wealth Creation Officer of Sironko District, has been transferred to Mbale City.
Masaba revealed to the media on Thursday, 16th January, 2025 that he received his transfer letter the previous day.
His position has been taken over by David Wandeke, who has assumed the role of Operation Wealth Creation Officer in Sironko.
Masaba expressed his readiness to serve the people of Mbale City.
During the handover ceremony at the Sironko District headquarters, Wandeke stated that, following the introduction of the Parish Development Model Program, they will oversee the program at the district level alongside district officers.
He pledged to combat the practice of parish chiefs and other officials extorting bribes from PDM beneficiaries before providing services.
Meanwhile, Wandeke urged the people of Sironko and district staff to cooperate with him to drive the country forward.
