KAMPALA CITY: Quack Investor Arrested for Counterfeiting NUMA Feeds

KAMPALA

 

A Self-styled investor has been arrested on allegations of being involved in production of Numa Products and Copyright infringement which hinders investment.

 

Robert Kasoma Sserumaga was arrested on Friday, 14th November, 2025 in an operation led by State House Investors Protection Unit in liaison with Uganda National Bureau of Standards and CPS Kampala police station.

 

Police later conducted a search at his residence in Lubowa, Kampala where he was found with the counterfeit NUMA Feeds products.

 

NUMA Feeds Ltd belongs to Mr. Robert Matsiko who has been in production for the last 30yrs adding value to the economic development of the country.

 

NUMA Feeds Ltd products include; Soya Maize, Soya Rice, Power Maize, Rice Flour, Super Rice, Karo (Millet & Cassava Composite Flour) and Bushera,(Fine Millet Flour).

 

The Investors Protection Unit under the leadership of Col. Edith Nakalema while collaborating with other government MDAs is committed to ensuring that both domestic and foreign investors are protected to enhance their investment in the country and will always ensure that such actors faces the long arm of the law
