Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited, (UEDCL) has announced that electricity users will not be able purchase Light tokens effective 10:30 pm Friday, 21st November until Saturday, 22nd November at 2:00PM.
The temporary inconvenience is as a result of maintenance works on the Light Vending system.
“To improve service reliability, our light vending system is scheduled for maintenance from Friday, November, 21st at 10:30pm to Saturday, 22nd November, 2:00PM,” reads a public notice dated 21st November, 2025.
