The Namisindwa District Parish Development Model (PDM) money Bonanza has taken a new twist with the RDC ordering the District’s IT officer to print out a list of health workers and parish chiefs who benefited from the Parish Development Model (PDM) program.
Elijah Madoi says investigations have revealed that some government health workers and parish chiefs, who are civil servants, received PDM funds despite being ineligible. He plans to publish the list and recover the money.
He says that immediately after the IT officer’s verifications he is going to publish the list of those civil servants vowing that they will be forced to pay back with interest.
Andrew Wabweni, the Namisindwa District Community Officer who doubles as District PDM Focal Person told this Publication that he has been warning Parish Chiefs and PDM Parish Chairpersons against including civil servants in the program at several engagements.
Last week, the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer published over 500 names of head teachers, deputy head teachers and education assistants who received the PDM funds and asked them to refund with interest before 20th April, 2026.
