Over 1,894 A’Level Students have failed the Makerere University Bachelor of Laws Pre-Entry Examination 2026/2027.
The list indicating scores of all students who sat for the examinations was released by the office of the Academic Registrar on Monday, 11th May, 2026.
A total of 2128 students sat for the2026/2027 Examination that was held on Saturday 18th April, 2026 and only 234 scored 50 and above.
The results show Kings College Budo, Seeta High, Gayaza High School dominating the best scores. However, the best student came from Mbarara High School scoring 72. He was followed by a student from St’ Mary’s College Kisubi with 68.
Interestingly, only eight schools from Eastern Uganda presented candidates who scored above the 50 mark needed to qualify for admission.
These are led by Iganga SS that posted 5 students, Tororo Girls School, Kobwin Seed Secondary School, Ngora, Central College, Kamuli, Abim Secondary School, Viva College-Wairaka, Kiira College-Butiki and Mehta SS all with one student each.
This leaves the traditional giants unrepresented in this prestigious Degree course including Teso College Aloet, St’ Peter’s College, Tororo, Jinja College, Nabumali S.S etc.
