Relatives of Justine Wachemba who was beheaded by her husband last night in Namisindwa district have this afternoon 16th September 2023 gone on rampage.
The relatives have attacked homes of Vincent Bwayo, the killer destroying property and crops in retaliation in the village of Watoko, Butingu Parish, Bumali Sub County in Namisindwa district.
The crops which have been slashed are bananas, Tomatoes, coffee, beans and burning all their houses with animals confiscated.
Julie Namara, the deputy Resident District Commissioner says that they sent their police to cool the situation.
She adds that the situation has been normalized but no body has so far been arrested.
Namara urged relatives of the deceased to be calm saying they are going to get justice since the accused person is in their custody.
