The 49 year old Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Among has given birth to twins.
This was revealed today, 23rd October 2023 by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa on his X account.
“With great Joy, I congratulate my brother @MosesMagogo and my sister the Rt. Hon Speaker @AnitahAmong upon the double bundle of joy. You are now Ssalongo and Nnalongo. Congratulations once again,” Tayebwa posted on his X account.
Rt. Hon Among got married to FUFA President, Moses Magogo on Friday 12, 2022 in a private ceremony in Kampala. Earlier the same month, Hon Among officially introduced her fiance in a closed-door ceremony in Bukedea District and these are their first set of children as a couple.
Anita Annet Among was born on 23rd November 1973) and is now 49 years.
She is a Ugandan accountant, lawyer and politician who is the incumbent Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda (2022–2026).
She also concurrently serves as the elected Member Of Parliament for the Bukedea District Women Constituency, the same position she held in the 10th Parliament (2016–2021)
