Deposed Uganda Netball Federation president, Sarah Babirye Kityo, has been remanded to Luzira Prison on charges of obtaining Shs16 million by false pretense.
Kityo earlier today, 30th November, 2023 appeared before the Anti-Corruption Court on charges related to fund mismanagement.
Kityo denied all the charges and has been sent to Luzira Prisons until tomorrow, 1st December, when she will re-appear before the same court for further hearings and a bail application.
Information had started trickling in yesterday, 29th November that Kityo had been arrested and held in Kibuli.
