SOROTI CITY: Motorcycle Thief Dies after Witch Doctor’s Ritual

A suspected thief has tragically passed away after ingesting herbal concoctions provided by a witch doctor, following accusations of stealing two motorcycles.

 

Jimmy Epianu, also known as Tabu, died on Monday night, 5th February, 2024 after undergoing rituals performed by a witch doctor earlier that same day. The ritual reportedly left all three suspects, including Aaron Enabu and a one Edibu, eating grass within hours.

 

The trio, residents of Aputon Cell, Agama Soroti West Division, is accused of pilfering two motorcycles from the local area.

 

Reports indicate that the thefts occurred on January 31, 2024, when a motorcycle belonging to Abraham Opolot, a boda boda rider, was taken. Another motorcycle, owned by Tom Ochan, was stolen on February 2, 2024.

 

As this story was being compiled, authorities had already retrieved and transported the deceased’s body to Soroti City Mortuary for postmortem.
