A 20 year old student of Bugwere High has been killed in cold blood by unknown thugs who made off with a motorcycle that he was riding at night.
According to the North Bukedi Police Spokesperson, SP Semewo Samuel, the deceased has been identified as Were Jovic, 20 yr old Munyoli and resident of Nansenyi village, Nansenyi Parish, Mugiti Sub County in Budaka district.
Semewo says that preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased was on his way back from school after he had dropped his brother at about 8:00PM when he was waylaid and hit on his head by a metallic object by unknown people and motorcycle no UFE 837R Bajaj boxer red robbed.
His body was seen by passersby on Tuesday at around 0900am who reported the matter at Kamonkoli police station under Budaka CPS.
Police reached at the scene of crime and documented the scene, recorded relevant statements and put it on record VIDE CRB 078/2024 Kamonkoli police under Budaka CPS.
The body of the deceased was conveyed to Mbale City mortuary for postmortem examination as investigations continue to apprehend the robbers who are still at large.
