Jerom, a member of Alien Skin’s Fangone Forest lost his life on Tuesday, 19th, November, 2024 having been involved in a car accident earlier in the day.
According to a statement released by the Fangone Forest management, Jerome was involved in a car accident at Fangone Forest while preparing to take kids to school.
The statement says that unfortunately, Jerom lost control of the manual vehicle and collided with the perimeter wall.
In an attempt to escape the accident, Jerome jumped out of the car, but tragically, the perimeter wall struck him, causing severe injuries.
Luckily, neighbors and witnesses rushed to his aid and alerted the authorities. Alien Skin emergency services responded promptly and transported Jerome to the hospital.
Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical team, Jerome succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jerome’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time,” reads the statement.
However, hours later, members of Fangone Forest Community are said to have raided Nsambya Hospital where Jerom died from and assaulted a doctor and two Security guards accusing the hospital of neglect leading to Jerom’s death.
“Nsambya hospital doctor, two guards beaten, hospitalized after sustaining injuries in an attack suspected to be led by one of the local musicians in a fight over a patient who reportedly died earlier after being admitted at the health facility,” a source said in a statement today, 20th November.
