Police has arrested the Managing Editor of Eagle Online publication over what it calls multiple allegations of Extortion and Cyber Harassment.
This was revealed by Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson in a statement dated Wednesday, 11th December, 2024.
Owoyesigyire says Wanambwa Richard of the Eagle Online will be produced in court in due course.
“Our team is collaborating with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution and the suspect shall in due course be produced in court,” says Owoyesigyire.
Details of the charges remain scanty as the Spokesperson did not elaborate much in his statement.
