Police in conjunction with other Security Agencies have arrested the mastermind of an armed gang terrorizing coffee traders in Masaka, Kalisizo, and surrounding districts.
Bruno Juuko, the group’s commander, was captured on Friday, 25th July, 2025 at around 8:30PM.
Juuko’s arrest follows the successful foiling of an armed robbery involving Shs50M on Tuesday, 22nd July at Kizigo Village, Kyotera district where police pursued the 5 robbers, shooting one dead.
Police also recovered two guns, a motorcycle, and other exhibits after the robbers had earlier attacked a manager at Mazima Bugaga Coffee factory, stealing 50 million Ugandan shillings.
