Nansana Police are investigating an aggravated robbery and murder case that occurred on July 28, 2025, at around 9:40 p.m. in Nansana East I ‘B’ zone, Wakiso District.
The victim identified as Kyamazima Rose, a mobile money agent, was stabbed to death by three unknown men who were riding a motorcycle.
According to the preliminary reports, goons stole her ATM card, two smart mobile phones, one small button phone, and an unspecified amount of money.
According to eyewitnesses, Kyamazima Rose was seen depositing money in a bank using an ATM card and then boarded a motorcycle to head home. As she was about to reach her residence, the trio followed them and surrounded her with violence, causing her rider to flee and leave her alone. Despite her attempts to run away, she was overpowered and stabbed, leaving her lifeless.
SSP Patrick Onyango the Kampala metropolitan area spokesperson says the police were notified and responded immediately, documenting the scene thoroughly. The body was taken to the city morgue for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend the suspects.
