Socialite and controversial figure Bryan White, born Brian Kirumira, has been remanded to Luzira Upper Prison following a court appearance earlier today, Wednesday, 19th November, 2025.

Bryan White was on Thursday, 13th November, 2025 charged in his absence with four counts including human sacrifice, manslaughter, conspiracy to commit a felony, and possession of narcotic drugs.

According to Nalubwama’s father who was among the very few who entered the Chief Magistrate’s chambers, Bryan White was charged with seven counts including human sacrifice, and murder and has been remanded till 18th December, 2025.

Bryan was charged alongside his co-accused persons who include Daphine Abaho, Naava Nakato and Irene Joyce Nambalirwa.

The four are accused of killing Carol Nalubwama allegedly for ritual sacrifice. They also face charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, giving false information, and doing a rush and negligent act which resulted into the death late Nalubwama.

Departed Caroline Nalubwama aged 25, was Bryan White’s girlfriend and she reportedly died at Bryan white’s residence in Makindye Division under unclear circumstances on October 22, 2025.

Prosecution avers that on October 22, 2025, at Kyamula Zone in Makindye Division, Bryan White killed Carol Nalubwama for the purpose of performing or furthering witchcraft, ritual, or other unlawful purposes, contrary to the Prevention and Prohibition of Human Sacrifice Act.

On the count of manslaughter, it’s said between October 22 and 27, 2025, Bryan white unlawfully caused the death of Nalubwama by burning her and later transferring her to Kiruddu Hospital, where she succumbed to injuries.

Court officials confirmed that Bryan White was denied bail and will remain in custody until his next scheduled hearing.

Once known for his flashy lifestyle and philanthropic campaigns, Bryan White has faced increasing legal troubles in recent years, including accusations of sexual misconduct and financial fraud — most of which have stirred public outcry and divided opinion.

His transfer to Luzira Upper, the maximum-security facility, has raised questions about the seriousness of the charges, with many on social media expressing shock and skepticism.
