Uganda Wildlife Authority has released shortlist for successful applicants for the position of Ranger.

A statement issued by the UWA Communications Manager, Bashir Hangi today 8th April, 2026, says that the shortlist is available at all Conservation Areas where applications were submitted.
The Shortlist can also be accessed on the UWA Website ugandawildlife.org/shortlists/ where shortlists per Conservation area where people submitted their applications are found.
The interviews for the shortlisted applicants will commence on 20th April and shall end on 23rd April 2026 running from strictly 8:00AM at the designated Conservation Areas.
It is important for the candidates to note that anyone reporting for interviews beyond 8:00AM will not be considered. They are also required to carry along a National ID, UCE Certificate and a pen.
Candidates will also be required to undergo a physical test upon signing a consent form and all those candidates who feel they are not healthy enough for the rigorous physical test are advised to keep off.
“Uganda Wildlife Authority shall not be liable for any loss of life, injury or damage/loss of property during the recruitment exercise,” warns UWA in the statement.
