Police in Nateete are holding a 26-year-old man, identified as Abdu Serugo, on allegations of impersonation following a dramatic incident along the Northern Bypass in Busega.
According to authorities, the suspect was arrested on the evening of April 21, 2026, after reportedly threatening members of the public while claiming to be a security officer capable of opening fire.
Security teams responded to the scene and apprehended Serugo. A search conducted at the time of arrest led to the recovery of a toy pistol, as well as items including footwear resembling military boots and an SFC T-shirt—believed to have been used to bolster his false identity.
