The Entebbe High Court Circuit has convicted a notorious land grabber who has for years been terrorizing Wakiso residents.
Kyagaba Charles was convicted on Friday, 15th May, 2026 on several charges, including Malicious Damage to Property, Fraudulent Procurement of Land Titles, Criminal Trespass, Assault, and Forcible Entry, among others.
According to the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, Kyagaba, together with others still at large, had for years terrorised residents in Wakiso, especially in Entebbe, by fraudulently claiming ownership of their properties.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on 18th May 2026.
Kyagaba was first arrested and arraigned before court by State House Anti-Corruption Unit in 2022 following a public outcry and numerous complaints from residents in Entebbe.
