Wambogo Moses the CEO “Wambogo Technical Services, is an entrepreneur well known for Land investments across the country.
He is one of the 2473 people in Kabale parish Hoima district whose Land and property falls within the 29 square kilometers of land that the Government earmarked for the construction of the country’s first Oil refinery and related infrastructure which will start in early July and it’s expected to be completed in March next year.
However the Chief Government Valuer Mr Gilbert Kermundu has questioned how Mr Wambogo Moses acquired 200 acres of land in the gazetted area yet he is a gishu.
“Wambogo Moses must be having allies within Government who tip him to buy land at a small price and sells it off to higher prices because he was among the beneficiaries who were compesented by UNRA according to our investigations, ” says Chief Government Valuer.
Wambogo three years back benefited from UNRA compensation of Land owners in Bubulo Town Council in Manafwa district.
