A 12 year old girl has sadly died after falling into a 100-meter deep well also known as shardoof.
Kagimu Bossa fell into the well on Tuesday, 21st January, 2025 and efforts to rescue her by the Police Fire and Rescue Services in Kampala did not pay off as she was pulled out already dead.
According to a brief police statement, the incident occurred at Luwafu Abbas zone, in Kampala City.
The same statement says that a male security guard who attempted to rescue her also fell into the well but was rescued alive and taken to Kirudu Referral Hospital for treatment.
