The outgoing Mukono High Court Head of Circuit, Justice David Matovu has officially handed over office to incoming Head, Justice Stephen Mubiru.
The ceremony that took place on Monday, 14th April, 2025 was witnessed by Lady Justices; Jacqueline Mwondha, Rosemary Bareebe and Mary Kaitesi.
The ceremony marked a smooth transition and continuity of judicial leadership at the Circuit. Justice Matovu, who served with dedication and distinction, expressed gratitude to the court staff and stakeholders for their support during his tenure. He encouraged continued cooperation and professionalism under the new leadership.
In his remarks, Justice Mubiru thanked his predecessor for the seamless transition and pledged to build on the foundation laid, with a focus on timely justice, integrity, and enhanced service delivery.
Judiciary is yet to confirm Justice Matovu’s next destination.
