The founder of defunct Entebbe Ssese Gateway Beach as well as the former Chairperson Board of Directors Bank of Africa, Erieza Kagwa Luboje died on Saturday May 24, 2025, a few days after he had just been discharged from Nsambya hospital. The deceased spent months being hospitalized at Nsambya hospital over serious health complications.
A vigil was held on Sunday, 25th May, 2025 at his residence in Maule zone in Kasangati along Matuga road, and a requiem mass will be held this week at St. Paul Church of Uganda, and he will be laid to rest on June 1st, 2025 in Maule Zone, Kasangati where he willed to be buried.
At the time of his death, the deceased had served in different capacities and also founded a number of projects. Among the positions he held include former partner of Price Waterhouse Coopers in Kampala, member of Certified Public Accountants, Ex- Rotary president of Kampala-Ssese Islands, and former Chairperson Board of Directors Bank of Africa. The deceased also founded projects like defunct Entebbe Ssese gateway Beach, Entebbe Eco-forest beach, Director St. Gertrude School of Nursing and Midwifery and also St. Gertrude Business School as well as the Director Goldrock and partners.
The deceased who is survived with twelve (12)children, attended Chadwick Namate primary school, Entebbe secondary school and Bishop SS, Mukono.
Meanwhile, revelers who used to hang out at the defunct Entebbe Ssese Gateway Beach will live to remember the late Erieza Kagwa, because his beach was one of the most popular hangout places in Entebbe.
