NRM Electoral Commission chairperson, Tanga Odoi, has declared Phillip Oucor the NRM flag bearer for Pingire County in Serere District, following the final tallying of results from last week’s party primaries.
Tanga Odoi who made the declaration on Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025 gave the final tally as follows; Abuka Charles 1173 representing 6.7%, Ojit Peter 6509 representing 37.2% and Olupot Ambrose 238 representing 1.4%.
Oucor Phillip who was declared winner polled 7503 votes representing 42.9%.
Others are Omedo John who managed 98 votes representing 0.6%, Opolot Fred, the incumbent MP garnered 1976 representing 11.3%.
Tanga Odoi therefore declared Oucur the winner who emerged winner after tallyning of the total 17,497 votes.
